Protocol Updates

Posted by:

As you may be aware, the COVID-19 cases are rising on the island and in order for our salon to keep staff and clients safe, there are some new protocols that we need to put in place.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES FOR YOUR NEXT VISIT:

EVERYONE MUST WEAR A MASK BEFORE ENTERING THE SALON EVEN IF YOU ARE PURCHASING PRODUCT OR PICKING SOMEONE UP

A 3 layer mask is mandatory if you are having your hair done and must be worn before entering the salon. I you don’t have an appropriate mask or your mask doesn’t fit well (gaps, falling off) then we will gladly provide you with a disposable mask.

If you do need to switch masks, please do not talk until you have one on. We are trying our best to eliminate any airborne droplets.

Hand sanitizing is mandatory and needs to be done properly with enough sanitizer to be able to allow for at least 20 seconds of hand rubbing as if you were washing your hands.

If you are having a haircut and don’t mind, we would appreciate you coming with your hair shampooed, it does not need to be wet upon arrival, we can rewet. We can shampoo if you are unable to do it yourself or if it is a part of your service that you prefer. Pre- shampooed hair is not necessary if you are getting a colour or perm service.

Try not to arrive too early for your appointment. We don’t have a waiting area inside the salon and don’t want anyone to have to deal with inclement weather conditions if at all possible. Please wait in your vehicle upon arrival and call us at 250-954-1833 to let us know. If you don’t have a cell phone please come and knock on the door at your appointment time. When your stylist is ready for you to come in we will let you know.

Please don’t bring friends or family members with you unless you need assistance to enter the salon. Your caregiver will need to wait outside the building during your service.

As much as we dislike having all of these “rules” in the salon we feel like they must be implemented in order to help bring the curve back down and to prevent another lockdown. Let’s remember, this is just for now it is not forever. If we all cooperate and work together we will get through this. In the meantime, we will always help you to look and feel your best and to enjoy your visit in the salon.
